Götheborg of Sweden will be visiting Malta this October as part of her East Asian expedition. The Götheborg of Sweden is a unique replica of an 18th century ship that ran aground just outside its home port Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1745. It is a ship loaded with experiences and a genuine working ship with a vibrant history marked by thousands upon thousands of nautical miles, standing as a symbol of bravery, entrepreneurship and innovation and being the world’s largest, active wooden sailing ship. Visitors get to know everything: from captivating stories on the seven seas, to the tremendous art of shipbuilding in an 18th century environment.
One can opt to travel to Valletta Cruise Port aboard the Götheborg for a holistic experience from the 18th century, or simply book an onboard visit for her Malta stop planned between the 14th and 18th October 2022.
