The summer months have once again demonstrated Valletta’s importance as a key Mediterranean cruise destination, with the port welcoming a diverse range of international cruise brands and managing a steady flow of transit and turnaround operations. The summer schedule has featured numerous high-activity days, with multiple vessels calling within short timeframes and requiring close coordination between cruise lines, port teams, authorities and service providers.

Among the highlights was the maiden calls of Britannia by P&O Cruises and Celebrity Xcel in June, the inaugural visit of VidantaWorld ELEGANT, Aurora Expeditions’ Douglas Mawson and Orient Express Corinthian.
