Taking place every Thursday evening in July and August, this free cultural event invites visitors to discover Malta's rich heritage in one of the island's most atmospheric harbour settings.
Set against the iconic coloured doors of Valletta Waterfront, once part of the area's mercantile past, Maltese Nights brings together traditional folk dancing, live Maltese songs, falconry displays, terramaxka melodies, artisan crafts and family-friendly activities.
From the sound of the terramaxka to the movement of folk dancers, every evening offers a relaxed and memorable way to experience Maltese culture by the Grand Harbour.
Entrance to the event and entertainment areas is completely free. All Valletta Waterfront restaurants and bars will be open as usual, offering plenty of options for dinner, drinks or a relaxed evening by the water.
